True Essence Of Religion Is Lost In Ritual And Culture

Yes, it is because of ritual we lost our true religion .the essence of all religions is one .only their approaches are different. And all religions are branches of the same tree. Country like India, known for rituals and festival and so on. Religion is an organised collection of beliefs, culture systems and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence. But now religion is just a combination of unwanted rituals and baseless superstitions. It is said that every religion is incomplete without Rituals. These are actually a series of action performance by people through nobody knows, when how and who started these also we cannot see any relevance but still they are being followed by peoples. It is just because people are so greatly attached by these beliefs. A very good example of one such is the cremation of dead in different religions. It is usually carried out either by burying under the ground or burring it. If we see to both the procedures they are injurious to the environment either by polluting the environment or by capturing a huge amount of land for graveyards.

This can be prevented by using electrical machines. Recently, a study by researches shows that Indians rituals are responsible for a great amount of polluting and melting of glaciers in the Himalayas. India where the large population is still considered as BPL and under when privileged, it is difficult to understand the wastage of large quantity of daily products and potable water when water table is going low.
Potable water table is going low. All this is alone in the name of god this can be distributed amongst the poor. Our country is yet too called as developed but the funds or donations received by these temples if taken together can be even more than the budget for a five year plan, or for a mega project.
One cannot believe in god until he be lives in himself “In the words of“Mohammad ail”River, Ponds, Lakes and streams – they all have different name but they all contain water. just as religions do –they contain truth so , in my opinion we don’t need religion to have morals .If we can’t determine right from wrong then we lack empathy not to save this earth , this environment , humanity , mankind and
above all.
So, on the name of rituals we are damaging our environment, earth etc and losing our religion on the name of rituals.” The god has gone away and the rituals of the religion continued senselessly, uselessly and spirituality does not come from religion it comes from our soul “.
